Forgotten Gateway: Coming to America Through Galveston Island was an exhibit designed and produced for the Bob Bullock Texas State History Museum in Austin, Texas by Drew Patterson Studios. Our responsibilities included designing all aspects of the exhibit including graphic design, interactive components, exhibit furniture, traffic flow/floor plan. TThe exhibit was designed to travel, and we were responsible for overseeing fabrication and installation. The exhibit highlighted themes in the history of immigration and was enhanced with personal stories, visitor interactive kiosks, engaging media pieces, and more than 200 original artifacts and documents. The exhibit opened at the Bob Bullock Museum and traveled to Ellis Island in NYC, the Moody Center in Galveston, the Museum of Natural Science in Houston and the Ft. Worth Museum of Science and History.
