Commissioned by the City of San Antonio, through the offices of the architecture firm Lake/Flato, Drew Patterson Studios designed, built, and installed artwork on the four corners of the Houston Street Bridge in the historic district of downtown San Antonio. The artwork consists of four lead crystal sculptures representing the four Spanish colonial missions of San José y San Miguel de Aguayo, Nuestra Señora de la Purisma Concepción de Acuña, San Francisco de la Espada, and San Juan Capistrano.
